FAQ’s

What Does POLY do?

Rejuvenates Reduces Fine Lines & Wrinkles. Regenerates Stimulates Collagen Production. Restores Look & Feel Younger

Each cell in your body requires energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) to function. ATP is manufactured and stored within cellular structures called mitochondria. As we age, the mitochondria become less able to to efficiently produce ATP – which in turn diminishes the production of collagen and elastin. POLY stimulates the mitochondria and increases the ATP. The increased ATP production stimulates the production of collagen fibers that are added to the dermis, resulting in the smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles as well as reducing the signs of aging

How long is a POLY treatment, and is there any downtime after treatment?

A POLY treatment is only 12 - 15 minutes. There is absolutely no down time after POLY treatments and clients can return to their normal lives immediately.

Is POLY FDA cleared?

POLY is FDA cleared for red light at 633nm. Our POLY Rejuv and POLY Regen systems are approved for sale under the General Wellness Provision put forth by the FDA in 2016.

What is the difference between LED Therapy and Lasers?

LED therapy devices use light emitting diodes at specific wavelengths to product a variety of beneficial effects on the skin or body. Lasers operate similarly; however, do so using a focused beam of light. This means that lasers do not scatter and reach higher power outputs and temperatures. Lasers can only operate at one specific wavelength and cannot treat the full face or body. Lasers are typically used for more severe cases and in clinical settings and are typically more expensive and time consuming.

Are goggles required?

Yes. POLY emits bright light. Goggles must be worn during treatment to prevent eye strain and /or headaches. We will provide goggles for you, or you may purchase your own.

Is POLY safe?

While side effects are not common, if they do occur, they’re usually mild and short lasting. They may include: Increased sensation, itching, or pain to the treatment area that is due to increased circulation. Elevated temperature, skin irritation or uncomfortable warmth on the treated area is due to increased circulation.

Can everyone use POLY?

Poly is safe for all ages and skin tones.
